Sometimes I wonder how I got so lucky to know so many bold, unforgettable creators. Then I remember: like attracts like. Together, we intuitive artists are here to bring powerful truth and wisdom into the world at a time when it’s desperately needed.

Ready for your next revelation?

The Artist

Meet Jes Earhart (she/they), divinely inspired collage creatrix and the creator behind The Media Luna. A fiery Aries and great-niece of the one-and-only Amelia Earhart, Jes is committed to being their most authentic self, and they offer their gifts and warmth generously wherever they go.

Jes has spent years living each tarot energy in order to understand and translate its messages, a devotion that reminds me of my own start. Their collage work has been shown at the Cleveland Museum of Contemporary Art, Short Run Seattle, Toronto Comic Arts Festival, and Small Press Expo.

The Deck

After one full Venus cycle (six years), this starling has collaged a 78-card tarot deck and is ready to midwife it into the world. Affectionately titled Weird at Heart Tarot, it draws on the Rider-Waite-Smith visual language, which many of you know is my go-to deck.

The collection pulses with a daring, deeply tender energy. Each collaged card is a portal for reflection, and an invitation to get curious about what you find there. You won’t find a single human face in the deck. Instead, each card holds an intentional slice of the sky, a place to explore seeing ourselves as the source of the archetypes. showing up in the spread.

“The heart of it is radical self-love, rewilding, and joy as rebellion: my flavor of surrealism that invites people to trust their own intuition. I made it with baby witches in mind, people who might be picking up their very first deck, while still giving experienced readers something to fall in love with.”

The Release Party

Some decks are meant to be looked at. This one is meant to be felt. To celebrate the launch, Jes is throwing a Release Party on Sunday, November 22, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the Irma Freeman Center for Imagination in Garfield, and I’ll be there reading tarot! The afternoon is designed for every part of you: the curious, the tired, the restless, and the wise.

Between sessions, move at your own pace. Creative stations are set up for hands-on play, so you can make something while the day works on you. You’ll also find themed mocktails and magical bites from a local eatery, and a chance to flip through the cards up close and meet the art behind each one.

Flyer for event featuring four of the cards and a mysterious, faint glimpse at the back of the card as the background. Event details found on this page.
